Jay,

Thanks for the very interesting post. What calls my attention is that digital media and shopper marketing enable shoppers to reshape the shopping experience. Although many feared a Orwell-like world with marketers washing our brains, it turns out to be a win-win situation.

I would also like to invite you to visit my blog on shopper marketing:

Started following you on twitter and i am looking forward to exchanging ideas!

Best,

As you know, the needs of very large enterprises are unique, so we've decided to focus just on those in order to get it right.

Happy to discuss more, if you want.

Und, wenn Sie wollen, wir koennen auf Deutsch sprechen ;-)

Either way...thanks for the mention!

Isn't he talking about the development of speech and applying the same type of data analysis to correlate the social media network with television programs to predict what people are watching, talking about, and over all social trends? the data collected is obviously anonymus and so you still have your privacy and peace of mind. It just means that behavioural researchers have an excellent new toy to play with. It might also revolutionise the way advertisers measure the succes of a campaign, as they can measure the social impact across mediums, possibly easier then ever before with larger groups of people. therefore means more accurate Intel and insight on what people think. this is serious naturalistic observation.

Why social media is so important. I don't see what is the point of this social media. It's like a commercial, let's sell our product better by knowing people and making connections.

Japanese people had astonished me with all their robot researches and building. They have some amazing robots, but what do we need human robots for? We are capable to do things like we have been until now. We don't need some thing to do our job.
