Classical Music in the digital space: Symphony Orchestras on YouTube
Someone had a great idea. Take the most famous Orchestras in the world and have a worldwide competition of musicians on YouTube, where people vote for the musicians who should play a finale at Carnegie Hall.

As someone who entered into this competition (and is now in the next round where people get to vote on your video), I would like to share with you this fascinating cultural experience from an insider’s viewpoint. Probably over a thousand people subjected themselves already to potential public humilation of their craft - all age groups are represented, from all over the world, at all levels of ability - some humiliated some showered already in praise. A number people have been extremely helpful to others, entering into the spirit of cultural cooperation. And there have been a few petty detractors.

i think its a great idea, plus it looks very good
