Painter, grafic designer or photographer, it doesn’t matter what you’re creating - art likes to be seen. Finding the perfect way to present your work can take longer than creating it. You’re just longing for the perfect way. I still think a white wall or a plain white html page is the best in most of the cases.
I’m browsing through a lot of portfolios every month and I’m really starting to dislike flash portfolios. There are good approaches around, but the larger number is just not user friendly at all. Just like the portfolio of Nadav Kander. However, I’m admiring his pictures. And at the end that’s what counts - the art.
